This one’s been in the sketchbook for a while, but it was finally time to bring it to life.
🔹 Blade:
52100 steel – Excellent choice for edge retention and toughness. It’s a high-carbon steel, so it’ll take a keen edge and hold it, especially with that forged structure.
3/16” thick – Sturdy but still nimble for general use.
4 1/2” blade length – Perfect for a utility or field knife—compact but capable.
Convex grind – Great for durability and slicing performance. A good choice for a working blade that might see wood, rope, game, or food prep.
🔸 Handle:
4 1/2” handle – A good balance with the blade; equal-length handles often give a solid feel in-hand.
Birdseye maple – Beautiful aesthetic and solid grip when finished right. Adds a touch of class to the rugged blade.
Includes your choice or right or left handed leather sheath.
